In Which I Explain That I'm Not Dead

Hey wizards!  How has everything been since the last time I've posted?  Excited for the New Year?

Just to let you know, I plan on posting a lot more.  I haven't played W101 in a bit, but to be honest I'm not worried about getting back into the swing of things.  :U  Today I'm going to recharge my crowns and head into Dragonspyre, so expect a post tomorrow or Monday.

I also will continue with my parody series, "The Darings of Duskblade"!  :D

New Mounts in the Crown Shop!

(Because I'm late on the Live Realm release of Zafaria.  Harhar. :B)

The Hippogriff, Crokagator, and Ostrich mounts are now available for purchase in the crown shop!  Some of you may (apparently) recognize them from the test realm!  They go for 7000, 6500, and 7500 crown, respectively.

So, any thoughts on them (even from you test-realm-ers)?  I personally LOVE the ostrich.  I've seen birds which are very similar up close.  They are called emus, and they are kind creepy.  o.o

My Thoughts on Zafaria

*LATE RESPONSE BLOG POST TIME*

As we all know, Zafaria has been released on test realm.  I'm unfortunately not able to play since I haven't reached past Celestia, but I'll give you my thoughts on it...

Ahem....

First off, the spells...  OH MY GOODNESS THAT CHIMERA!  ...  Sorry, it really excites me.  It's cool.
The other spells aren't as cool (in my opinion), except the Volcano spell.  I really think Kingisle should have done something like a Dullahan for the Death students.

The land is amazing; it's detailed, lush, and crisp.  Kingsisle's graphics are only getting better and better!  :D

Some Good News and Bad News

Hello everyone!  :)  I hope everyone has had a fantastic October so far.  I have some news I'd like to share with you;

Good news:  Some new cards are available for purchase!  The Hawk Rider bundle and the new Super Bundle (gosh, I love that giraffe pet)!  Both can be found at Walmart and GameStop, respectively.  ;)

Bad news:  I'm afriad that the lack of blogging from me will continue.  I'm out of crowns and I won't be able to refill them until Christmas.  So for two-ish months, expect very little from me.  :(  However, I'll still be hanging around the community on Twitter, so don't be too sad.  :P

What Time Is It?

Today marks the start of Halloween Fest in the Spiral!  Grab your pumpkins, grab your wands, and give the quests and towers a go!

Bad news:  Wizard101 isn't working for me at the moment.   I'd love to take pictures of the Towers and new pets, but that'll have to wait until I can fix things.

Edit: Fixed!  :D  Some awesome pets for sale via Spooky Bob, especially the Ghost Dragon!  It comes with a Summon Death Minion card.

Happy October and Gear-a-Palooza!

Hello everyone!  Soon Halloween events will come into the Spiral!  :D  I remember being a little level 15-er, doing the hard tower with Grandmaster friends (as mentioned in this post), dying on the final boss.  XD

Gear-a-Palooza is coming up as well!  I'm not looking forward to this Palooza as much, but it'll still be worth it.  The October newsletter said it'll start on the 6th, so get ready for some contests coming your way!

That's right folks;  This is the first anniversary of  The Dragoness!  I'd like to thank all those who have read, followed, and recommended my blog!  You all are awesome!

Now, I'm sorry about the lack of posting.....  School makes me busy and I'm running out of crowns.  I may not get any until Christmas either.  :(

Wizard Watchtower: Wanted!

So, Wysteria's live!  :D  And they added dome singular transporters to the crowns shop, which will be nice for me.  ;D

The only bad thing is that I can't find the Wizard Watchtower and where they are selling them.  It's driving me nuts!   D:  I'm not even sure Kingsisle even released them yet!  x, x  So, if any of you have information about it, tell me please!  ^^

The End (Of Mooshu!)

Ladies and gentlemen, I have beat Mooshu!  I'd like to thank all those who have helped me, mainly Dark and Donna Spellthorn!  I owe you two big time!

Small Update: Beginning of the End

As well as reaching level 43, I finished the Village of Sorrow today.  (Let me tell you, I was happy to get out of that depressing place!)

Yes, that's right folks:  one final dungeon before going against Cyrus.  I can't tell you how excited I am!  :D  Looks like my goal to get to Dragonspyre before school is well-within reach!  Of course, I'm dragging a friend along into the dungeon with me. It will mostly likely be Dark, who has already beat the Tree of Life.  :)

Test Realm and Spiral Live! Review

I downloaded Test Realm last night.  And although I've only tested out a bit of the houses and Wisteria...  It's so cool.  <3

Lately I've been thinking about getting Watchtower Hall, and I got excited when I heard about Friendly's House-a-Palooza Contest.  However, I then went on test Realm....  And I saw it.

  IT'S DRAGON-THEMED!

So I now know what my next house will be.  :P

Oh look, a review for a new Podcast!  Valdis, you awesome Life student, read it for us, please.

*sighs* Spiral Live! is a great new podcast hosted Nicolas Lionrider and Blaze Shadowhorn.  It's very entertaining, and has very high quality for a brand new podcast.  Although the hosts may get a bit off topic and random at times, they amuse without fail.  It's definitely worth a watch.

Er, happy ranting aside, I leveled up right after Shirataki Temple.  I was able to finish thanks to Donna Spellthorn, from The Diary of a Life Wizard.

I also attended Kestrel Shadowthistle's party, and boy was it fun.  Unfortunately, I left a little early due to something popping up....  Fine, I went to bed.  I woke up really early that morning; I was tired.  Anyway, I have pictures!  :D

Oi...

Well, sorry for not posting much.  I've been away from home for about a week.  Before that I found a brand new site to hang out on.  Crazy.

Anyway, I've seen videos and pictures of Wysteria!  I just found about it this morning, and I already like it.  LIVE REALM, I COMMAND THEE TO COME SOON.  After I finish Mooshu, at least.  ;D

Yes, I have been working on the Darings of Duskblade.  Expect the first one when I get back home.

Adept Crafter, Crimson Field, And.....

Thing accomplished since my last post:

1.  I've managed to finish the Mooshu crafting quest, and I'm now an Adept Crafter!

2.  I've completed Crimson Fields, thanks to Diana Wildheart, a friend of mine of Twitter.

3.  I made it to LEVEL 40!  Two more levels until HYDRA!!!!!!  X3

Also got this awesome new staff!

Now, for some goals:

~To make it to Dragonspyre before school starts (end of August)

~To finish all novice crafting items for Watchtower Hall

~To post as much as I have lately!  :D

Ah, I'm channeling my childhood through this post name....

So, I just got some crowns and I decided to try out Dragon's Hoard again.  GUESS WHAT.

The bad side is that I've been saving up gold for another mount, and now I have loads of gold and I don't know what to do with it at the moment.  (Once I hit Master Artisan I'll go for the crafted Grizzleheim house, but that will be awhile.)  Any ideas?  ;D

Also, I'm sorry for the delay in my comics series 'The Darings of Duskblade'.  My scanner stinks, as well as my tablet and computer-mouse-drawing skills.  (I need to practice more.)  It might be in a week or two I'll post my first comic.

Fixed W101 and Dragon's Hoard

Wizard101 is now working on the computer again!  Back to perhaps-weekly-or-every couple-days-or-so-blog-posts.

So, I bought my first crowns items (with crowns) today.  Let me tell you, I'm not one to pay for virtual items.  It just seems silly to me.  However, I really wanted a pair of those Dragon Wings or the Bone Dragon Mount, so I took my chances and bought two Dragon's Hoard packs.  No mount or wings (unfortunatly), but I did get a Sea Dragon pet... Named Princess Pebbles.  XD

Oh, and Black Lotus are evil to find in Tataki Outpost.  Out of 30 minutes of searching, I only found four.  D:<

In Which I'm Annoyed

I told myself I wouldn't rant about this...  But I want to everyone to hear this.

Note before reading: this isn't meant to insult ANYONE.  I'm just a little concerned because of the problems occurring, and I want you all to realize what you're doing.

So... The new MFP.

No, I'm not jealous of all the bloggers who got it (I'd never finish decorating it, and I like my Myth house WAY more), but I'm extremely annoyed at those who are.

I first heard about the problem on Skype, and then on a friend's blog.  I was surprised; usually people are pretty calm about this type of stuff.  BUT, this time a bunch of friends won't talk to each other and I feel like Skype is gonna burst into a flame war if all of those people end up in the same conversation.  =/  It's very silly really.

What's also really silly is that KI gives stuff like this out in the first place.  Seriously, giving only a certain few people a code for a card that's worth $40 is definitely going to make people VERY angry and upset.  A little common sense here, KI?

Series Name and Gaming Break

Hey everyone!  This will be a bit of an uneventful post, but I didn't want you all to think I was dead.  XD

First off, thanks to all of those who voted in my poll, or gave suggestions for names.  I came to the decision that I will call my series "The Darings of Duskblade", which was a suggestion by Victoria Spiritblossom.  Thanks for the awesome name!  83

And other news: I won't be on much for a while.  I'm having some difficulties in real life, as well as a really strange chest cold.  0.o

Crab Alley and JUDGEMENT

After the release of the Wintertusk update on the live realm, I went over and payed the 750 crowns for access to Crab Alley.  I had a lot of fun (I love going through easy quests), though I'll admit it was harder to avoid battles then I expected.  XD
And that false king kinda made me laugh;  FOR SCIENCE!!!  (That quote existed before around the Internet, though.

Not to mention that too! ^_^

But you know what's better than that?  I just defeated the bosses for the Judgement spell.  Two bosses at  once is haaaard. DX

I also completed Hamestu Village (with help from my new spell)!  I just started Tataki Outpost, so wish me luck!

Placing My Bets

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe I've figured out who the "Mystery Composer" is.  Before I tell you who, I will give you the reason why.

In some of the later ones released, I saw this clue:

I thought: "Jesse McCartney?"  I then proceeded to laugh at myself.  Only one hint supported what I though.

And then I checked his Wikipedia page.  Everything fits nice and evenly.

Btw, Jesse McCartney plays Roxas and Ventus from the Kingdom Hearts series.  One of my favorites.  83

Big Ben and Mooshu

Last night was quite an awesome one!  Rebecca, Donna (via her Balance student), and I (as well as Sarah Spiritheart for a short amount of time) completed Big Ben together!  ^^

Thus, I left Marleybone and headed to Mooshu, now a level 36 Balance student with Bladestorm (YES!).  It's a very pretty place, and I must admit that getting around is easier.  I'll still miss Marleybone though.  D=

Another New Heading and A Comic Series?

Hi everyone!  I was working on the new blog heading last night, and managed to finish it!  ^^

So, for the past couple days I've been thinking of starting a series of comic revolving around Wizard101.  It'll be a gag series; I don't have the patience to make a serious, full-blown story.  (It takes a lot of time and effort.)  The only problem is that I can't figure out a good name for the series!  X/  I have several ideas already, but none of them seem 'right'.  Thus, I will put up a poll and list the names I have already come up with.  But if anyone of YOU have a suggestion for a name, feel free to tell me via comments!

Extra news:  I should get around to entering and completing Big Ben within the next couple of days or so!  And then it's on to Mooshu, my friends!

Level 35, Helping, and Grizzleheim

A lot has happened within the past twelve hours.

Last night I spent a good portion of my time helping out Dark (aka Rebecca Shadowbringer).  She needed to do Katzenstein's Lab like I did before, so I helped her out.  Here's a picture:

During that time, I leveled up!  =D  Thus I went and bought new gear after we completed the dungeon.  To be honest, I'm not really used it yet.  I really miss my hat and epic spiky boots.  >_<

This morning I bought access to Grizzleheim.  I didn't bother buying it before because of the lack of experience points you get from it.  -_-;  However, I'm saving up for some things, so I thought Grizzleheim was a good place to get some money and expensive drops.  It's also fun to explore places you haven't been in before!  :3
